The Blackbird was manufactured by Lockheed-Martin Skunkworks and designed Clarence L. Kelly Johnson in Chantilly, VA. It was made out of titanium and it's last flight was on March 6, 1990. The Blackbird was built because it was suppose to be a spy plane. The wingspan was 55'7, length was 107'5, and it went 2250mph. It was 18'6ft tall and weighed 170,000lb.
