F-15 Eagle
The F-15 Eagle is one of the fastest military planes. It can go up to 1,875 MPH! The people who invented this cheetah of the sky is McDonnell Douglas Corp. The F-15 Eagle's first mission was in the Persian Gulf. The F-15 Eagle is an all-weather, extremely easy to fly, tactical flyer designed to help the Air Force be the ruler of the sky. This plane weighs 28,600 but when the plane takes off, it takes 68,000 lbs. Its 63.8 feet long, 18.5 feet wide, and its wings spread to 42.8. This jet can hold one M-61A1 20mm 20-mm held inside, six-barrel cannon with 940 rounds of ammunition; four AIM-9L/M Sidewinder and four AIM-7F/M Sparrow air-to-air missiles, or eight AIM-120 AMRAAMs, carried on the outside.
