The Boesemani Rainbow Fish
Have you ever heard of a fish with a dual dorsal fin, a deep forked mouth, and a black band of scales that runs from gill to tail; well if you have it was the Boesemani Rainbow Fish. However, the male Boesemani has a bluish purple head with a yellow orange posterior, though females not as colorful have a silver coloration throughout the body. This type of Rainbow Fish is an omnivore with a peaceful temperament. The Boesemani Rainbow Fish is related to the Melanotaeniidae, which is usually one to three inches large. If you decide to buy a Boesemani Rainbow Fish be sure to put it in an aquarium with lots of plants and plenty of room to swim.
